Department of Human Settlements

Mr Gumani Mathavhathe of the Department of Human Settlements joins participate in the GEHS Outreach Programme to share information about the Dept’s subsidy programme called FLISP – Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme. FLISP aim to assist people (including government employees) earning between R3501 and R15 000 with a subsidy to reduce the initial mortgage loan amount to render the monthly loan repayment instalments affordable over the loan repayment term

10 May 2016 Cape Town

GEHS team joined the PSCBC Team in a workshop on the implementation of the PSCBC Resolution 7 of 2015 regarding Government Employee Housing Scheme in Cape Town. Members of the various Labour Unions in the Western Cape attended the Workshop held at Protea Fire and Ice.



16 May 2016: Nelspruit

GEHS team joined the PSCBC Team in a workshop on the implementation of the PSCBC Resolution 7 of 2015 regarding Government Employee Housing Scheme in Nelspruit. Members of the various Labour Unions in the Western Cape attended the Workshop held at Emnotweni Casino.



18 May 2016: Johannesburg

GEHS team joined the PSCBC Team in a workshop on the implementation of the PSCBC Resolution 7 of 2015 regarding Government Employee Housing Scheme in Johannesburg. Members of the various Labour Unions in Gauteng attended the Workshop held at Protea Hotel OR Tambo.

GEHS Team held a workshop with South African Police Service HR Team regarding the implementation of the PSCBC Resolution 7 of 2015 in Paarl. As seen on the pic, HR officers interacted with GEHS and SA Home Loans Team for better understanding regarding the scheme.

Employees in the Presidency had an opportunity to interact with GEHS Team regarding the Implementation of PSCBC Resolution 7 of 2015, in Cape Town.



3 February 2017: Pretoria

GEHS Outreach Programme aims to give information to government employees to effectively use the Scheme to access housing finance to by houses. PSCBC Resolution 7 of 2015 is an agreement reached to assist Government employees to support, educate and advise employees on housing options and opportunities created by the Scheme. GEHS Team interacts with employees at the DPSA’s National School of Government.



16 February 2017
